hi friends, here's a fun topic for us to discuss: preconceived notions of certain color patterns and combinations. whenever i wear stripes, like today, i don't get, "grace, how trend-appropriate of you!" from my husband. instead, i get, "JAILBREAK!" ruffles are pirate, and there's some sort of "yarrr" comment. yellow and black is a bumblebee. orange and black is halloween, etc. does this happen to you?that aside, today's outfit features gray (which i'm currently obsessed with) white, and a pop of red.

erik is a jokester :D i don't get comments like that, but if germans don't like something they make comments like 'hmm. that dress looks weird on you. i would wear something else.' haha... i haven't been very color inspired lately... i'll work on it!

i find myself being very cautious of the red and khaki combo. i don't know why i fear looking like a target employee, i love that place! ha!
